Now that’s a biotech business

Researchers at the University of California San Francisco have discovered the gene that makes it possible to get drunk – no drunk gene, no buzz. Too much drunk gene and you act like an idiot even when you haven’t touched a glass.

Given the proliferation of alcoholism in the world, this is a huge breakthrough in terms of future therapeutic potential. Or, maybe, it is the onset of an incredibly boring epoch in human history.
