This covers a broad range of approaches to regulating information, including the statement that Lessig‘s innovation is “Code as Code, technical regulation. This is Lessig’s innovation. Use technology to reinvent the rules.” This is an overtly political act and, while I agree it is true people can do it, it is not a representative nor necessarily an positive way to make such decisions, because code is not accessible to all, code creates invisible dogmas, even in open source systems, since licensing often requires some aspect of the source code remain intact.
